Three Card Tarot Reading - Past, Present, Future
The three card tarot spread is the most requested layout for a reason: it reads as past, present, and future — or situation, action, and outcome — giving a question real narrative shape.
Use it when you want to understand how you arrived somewhere and where things are heading, not just a single-moment snapshot.
Frequently asked questions
What do the three positions mean exactly?
Most commonly: card one is the influence behind where you are now, card two is the present situation, and card three is where things are heading if nothing changes.
Can I use this spread for any topic?
Yes — love, career, and general life questions all work well with the past/present/future structure.
